Arrived.

After a VERY long haul. We have made it--in one piece I might add--not looking forward to the haul back. It's good to be with family though...I've missed them alot.

For a while.

We had some pictures taken a few weeks ago. Even though Heath was tired from a gig the night before and O was in a non-cooperative mood which caused us to cut the photo shoot short, I think they came pretty great. These are a few of my favorites!!!

Hair!

O has a little bit of hair...but it's soooo random!! If I attempt to put it in a ponytail, she looks like a Hari-chrishna. If I just leave it, it gets frizzy. If I put a little something in it, it'll weigh it down! I just don't know what to do?!?!?! She won't keep bows in her hair or headbands. So that's out. I'm just tired of people assuming she's a boy!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway, that's my dilema! Any suggestions??? Thanks.

Oh yeah, Mom comes to visit on Monday. I'm so excited and then one week from Monday La Familia J will be taking a trip to Wisconsin for a few days! It'll be a fast trip but it'll be SOOOO nice to see M & S...Suzie too!! LOL!

A few things.

One. Our rescue fundraiser was a HUGE success Saturday & we ended up raising $4800.00 for Homeward Bound! I'm so proud to be apart of these group of people who work tirelessly to help puggies in need.

Two. I was picked to work at the "Eco Village" at the Dave Matthews Band Concert and get to see the show just for volunteering and I'm sooooo excited!

Three. I hope you all will continue to visit my other blog YouNique Technique as things are really starting to move along. I've set us up for a couple of craft shows so far...and in the process of looking into a few more before years end! So things are looking good for us!

Those are are some great things going on that are fun things.

Great things that God is continually blessing us in is with Heath's job search. There is a promising poisition that he had applied for and hopes to hear something, hopefully, by weeks end! I know God has great things in store for us...and so for now I just continue to thank HIM for HIS blessings!

Oh yeah, looks like we will be taking a trip to Wisconsin for about a week to help my mom finish moving the rest of her things there. She's found a place, a good job and was blessed with a car. I think God was just waiting for her to get there so could finish all the wonderful things HE has started in her life! She's also able to finish come schooling too! I think the only thing she dreads is WINTER in Wisconsin!!! I'd trade her any day!! LOL!

It's soooo hot.

I can barely blog. I feel like I'm melting.......maybe if I pray hard enough God will allow it to snow. Ya think?? Ugh.............it's sooooo hot!!!!! When will it end??!?!?!?!

I wanna to be here....Central Park in the Winter. Doesn't it look grand!?!

Weekend of 100 degree weather.

It's tooooooo DANG hot! I can't stand it anymore!!! I hate Oklahoma summer...I will keep saying it until we no longer live here.

So, we've pretty much resorted to stay in doors as much and as long as possible. It's too hot. The car is too hot to enter, it's too hot to walk from the car to said location, it's too hot to walk back TO the car from said location, and so on and so on! You get the picture. It's HOT. Thankfully, not too much longer, just a few more weeks.......and there may be a break in sight if I can convince Heath to take us to Estes Park Colorado for a few days. All appendages are being crossed for this one! Anyway...here are some new pics of the princess. She's starting to talk way too much, she certainly has a mind of her own and is very opinionated! But Dear Lord, you have got to LOVE her!

This was on our way to church last week.

Since last week we were without a sitter, O went over to Miss C's house--she's my emergency sitter! I love taking O over there because Miss C has a little girl, L, who O just LOVES following around! And I just adore the pictures she takes....it always makes me feel like I've left her in the best of care!!


Since it was starting to get real steamy they played out in the sprinklers....for a little bit before heading inside!

So that's about it. It'll be a new week as Heath starts his "Stay-at-Home" dad routine. Some of you may or may not know but Heath was laid off of work two weeks ago. For now, he'll take his time finding a new job & just enjoy spending some much needed time with his girl!!!
